Every time I look at him he's staring at me. What is he doing? I don't know what to expect

there's this guy and I thought we were into each other. I've only known him for a few months now but every time I look at him he's staring at me. he Doesn't look away either, just stops what he's doing and watches me. I've talked to him a few times and every time we talked he was super nice. he had a big smile on his face and if someone else was talking to him he would stop the conversation just to answer a question I asked. then we went on a gym outing and he brought his girlfriend and didn't even look at me. just hid from me the whole night. I figured OK that's the end of it but whenever I go to the gym he's still always staring at me. the other day his girlfriend came in to make sure he was leaving I guess they were going somewhere? so he got ready to leave then he saw me talking to my guy friend and stood behind us watching us talk. I left then went back to the gym and he was there. I was talking to my best friend and he kept listening and trying to get into the convo. what is his deal? I don't get what he's doing?! please tell me just so I know

I would just asking him what's going on maybe he really likes you but doesn't know how to break it off with his girlfriend (& doesn't want her getting jealous of you) or he's looking for a bit of fun on the side. But you'll never know unless you talk to him. :)

He obviously likes you and wants you even though he has a girlfriend. he may planning on breaking up with her to date others or he may even be cheating on her. not sure exactly.
