What does it mean when a classmate stares at you?

Well there's this kid in my bio class and P.E. He's really good looking but quiet so I don't know much about him. He stares at me constantly even though I never talked to him.I said hi and all he did was say or a quick hey and left. He tries to act cool around me and when he's with his friends he acts like a goof ball . He plays at my vball court sometimes.he use to sit in the front of the class and now he sits across me in bio and pretends to "sleep". I don't know if he likes me or is it just my imagination?

When people look a you a lot, that usually means they're interested. If he's a quiet guy, that means he's not likely to talk a whole lot especially, if he likes you. Most guys don't have a problem with girls talking to them so if you're interested, just talk to him in class where he can't really say "Hey" and run away nervously.
