Most didn't care. Nails are nails. Some like women with manicured nails but it's seen more as a "bonus" than an essential thing. Bear in mind this is English guys, not American/mainland European or anything, and taste may vary from culture to culture. But the guys I've chatted with about this definitely don't see it as a deal breaker.
If you want to stop biting your nails, most chemists/drugstores sell a bitter flavoured nail polish that helps in giving up the habit. If you don't want to stop, then don't! They're your nails, nibble away!
well since you said short nail...i always cut my nails really short, to the point it hurts :o it just happens! I haven't seen any guy complain yet! they tell me I have cute fingers...weird I know haha

Yeah a little, because girls who bite their nails usually have short and ugly nails and I like my nails long and pretty
