What does it mean if my husband went to the gym for 5 hours?

how many hours do guys usually go to the gym? the reason I'm asking is because my husband went to the gym for 5 hours and I think he possibly may have had an affair but I don't want to jump to any conclusions but I know in my heart if he did that I will divorce his sorry butt... please honest answers only... plus he only went to the gym once and never went back so it seems very suspicious to me...

i forgot to add that we have 2 kids together and I gave birth to our second son march 11th, 2011 not very long ago but to deal with this is too much... I know I must prepare for the worst to come and to be strong for my sons but I feel I can't and I will just end up having a breakdown

i don't know why he would cheat because I lost all my pregnancy weight and I'm at 110 pounds which was my pre pregnancy weight and I'm keeping myself in shape and keeping my appearance up to date... what normal person cheats on their wife that just had their kid but feels no remorse... he's not in shape at all, he's about 235 his normal weight would be 170 with a six pack and everything... I don't know if its because he's insecure but I will never love him like the way I did when we got married...

I think 2-3 max ...is fairly normal for a guy that trains with a friend and socialises etc! 5 hours is very excessive unless he is training to be a body builder or something! How many times has this happened? Based on everything you have said seems like things haven't been going the best for you two. Irrespective of what others may have said I think you should go down there after a cpl of hours and see for yourself. At least then you will know for sure.

P.S If he is in GREAT shape. He might be telling the truth. Also if has truly been working out for this long he will be eating a lot more than usual etc. Also the gym clothes someone else has mentioned. These are the little things you'll need to look out for. Good Luck!

I'd also like to add who the hell spends that amount of time at the gym when he has a wife, 2 kids and new baby? He needs to get is priorities right! In saying that he may also just be trying to get away from a home situation that he is not happy in, but not actually cheating!

When I go to the gym I stay for about 5-7 hours because if I'm going to pay $10 for one visit I'm going to work out until I pass out!

Normally it's around 2 hrs max, but it can go to 3 if your chatting with a friend, 5 hrs however, that's crazy amount of time, although, he may have neglected to tell you that he had a few beers with his mates or something, if he only went once, well, that's just strange.

yeah its not normal at all and my stomach is turning knots because I know something isn't right... if he cheated I would rather him be honest about it then to lie because lying just makes things worse

Don't jump to conclusions and don't try to spy on him. Rather talk directly! You know the guy. Ask him if he was to gym or somewhere else. I bet you can tell if he lies. It is better than spying on him. Believe me!

i don't see why he can't be honest... I would do anything for him... he always accuses me of cheating and making me feel bad like he has a guilty conscious or whatnot
