I feel much attracted towards white women. I was born and raised in india and now doing PhD in one of STEM in US...
My experience with women in India was not so nice... They were more bitchy and abusive towards me... even though I never behaved bad to any of them... I was bit nerdy back then... In india women are less in number than men... and money , status having your own car/bike plays a huge part in dating...
I always like intelligent women... I got much love from girls in US , wheather as close friends or love...
Which I never believed would be possible for me. Many of them are highly intelligent too... I don't see them as an obsession or white women fetish like... I see them someone who wants me , accepts me...
Which Indian women never did for me, in india guys who are more into studies or serious only seen as arrange marrige material type and girls will not date them ever even if she's ugly/average/good looking compareble to the guy...
I am not saying every indian girl is like that but that's more general trend...
But majority of indian guys are not like that they don't want a white girl when it comes to marrige cause those girls will not be much obedient , cook, clean for him for rest of his life... But they want them when it comes to sex...
I grew up being a lot of indipendent. Self cooking , cleaning and all others for years and I don't want a maid as a wife...
It all comes down to politics and money.
Paler skin has always been seen as more attractive because it's a sign of wealth. Rich people don't need to work in the sun all day, so they are naturally pale. That was true, even before European Colonialism. White women naturally have a "wealthy" look to them.
Once the European colonizers showed up, marrying a white person guaranteed a sort of political status for your family in the British Raj. Now days, the White woman's features are the world wide symbol of beauty. There's something sexy about the dark girl with white features though. How many black and Asian girls do you know who straighten the shit out of their hair and then give it a gentle curl, or use make up to give themselves higher cheekbones? White woman features on brown skin.
I guess it's because in India the lighter your skin is the more admired and liked you are.
I've heard that dark skinned Indians are usually the ones with the worst jobs, the poorer and they live in the worst areas.
Because white women are beautiful and every people from different ethnics like white women

1. American culture (movies & TV shows, etc.) is exported around the world far more than any other, so most people are familiar with it.
2. India is a socially conservative, pretty religious country, and men normally can't get sex until they get married - and as marriage age has increased, that leaves a lot of sexually frustrated young Indian men.
3. By comparison, western women seem very "free" and "easy" and promiscuous, and so they're the perfect women to try to get some sex (or even just sexting/nudes) from.
4. Because most western girls don't share their religion, there is less respect for them than for religious Indian woman, who are considered more worthy of respect by their culture.
You'll actually find that it is the majority of other types of guys as well that like white women. While it could just be personal preference, I think there might still be a stereotype that you should marry in your race, etc. So having a girl that isn't is like forbidden fruit.
I don't know about Indian guys and I'm not Indian but I have known many single Indian guys that are here temporarily on their H1B visa working in the high tech field, they don't seem to be overly attracted to Caucasian women then any other women they seem to be an equal opportunity dater... but I have noticed was a lot of young Caucasian woman are more attracted to men with darker skin and hair than themselves so they have a tendency of seeking Indian men or men with similar features for relationships... so perhaps that is what you're noticing not so much that Indian guys dating and seeking Caucasian women, but it's the reverse Caucasian women seeking and dating Indian guys
I am an Indian white boy, I personally don't prefer a white girl I prefer dark Devine African kind of women
but many boys in India like a white girl because we have been told by media, Bollywood, fairness cream ads, etc, white girls are rare in India and we have been ruled by British for 200 years, that impacted lot for Indians.
I've got a lot of Asian friends and they wouldn't treat Asian girls like that as they usually do as ordered keep quiet, Asian men en the relationship, and they are worse to white girls, shouting, swearing, drink in bars, and Asian men can fuck them anytime, Asian girls stay virgin until marriage, white girls go for Asians who have money
Well, I am Indian and must tell you that not all of us like ultra-white women. While I do like such girls the most, it is because I love their carefree attitude and culture, especially Aussie and European girls! I've met many of them and they seem to be friendlier than women here.
Just because some Indian guy have preference and go for white woman in your country.
That does not mean that all Indian guy have thing for white woman.
That's an interesting question. If it is skin color then they might also find chinese and japanese women attractive too. Is that accurate?

Because lighter skin is what as seen as the ideal for beauty. I'm not saying that there are no other ideals just that on average people prefer lighter skin compared to darker skin.
You're attracted to who you're attracted to. I don't think there's a scientific or clear opinion on this. I wouldn't think much of it. Women are so beautiful it's easy for men to be attracted to women from all over the globe.
White complex and then local girls have a bitchy attitude.
