Literally every human should learn how to take care of a house and how to cook for themselves. There’s no excuse for someone to not know, it’s just pure laziness.
I do help my wife clean , I do not love her at all but that is no excuse for me to make her do all of the work. I do not want to loose her my parents did a dowry and paid a good amount of money for my wife. by the way my matrimony was arranged I was not happy at all at first now I thank my parents and understand why. She makes a good wife. I come from a wealthy family and we only get arranged plan marry with people within our own social statues.
@thatismyanswersowhat I see many things wrong here 1. You stay with your wife even though you do not love her. 2. Don't you mean lose instaed of loose. Loose - free or released from fastening or attachment. Lose - to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc., so that there is little or no prospect of recovery 3. Your parents bought a woman from a family for you to marry. 4. Don't you mean status instead of statue. Statue - a three-dimensional work of art, as a representational or abstract form, carved in stone or wood, molded in a plastic material, cast in bronze, or the like. Status - the position of an individual in relation to another or others, especially in regard to social or professional standing
Everyone should learn how to cook and do household chores. That being said, how the chores get distributed should be based on who works more and who stays home more.
They should know how to do these things if needed. In my home I don't let my husband cook or clean but he's not a idiot and still knows how to do all those things
why not. We have to live a lone.. Let me put it a different way. By the time i was 15 i was doing all of my own cooking and cleaning.. And most women these days.. and sadly most men, dont know how to do basic life skills like cooking and cleaning.
Men should be doing approximately half of the hous hold chores if both the In the relationship work full time. Given one person working part time or not at all the chore load should shift towards then just given the additional time they have
Yes, it's extremely important for men to learn how to take of themselves as well as women. All humans should be independent in basic house keeping skills
@nathanp97 exactly, i wish i knew how to do that stuff, that's why I've just started doing a apprenticeship in the British army because they are open to everyone and teach people grate skills that can carry people on in life
Yes for practical reasons, just like women should know how to change a tire and change a plug. Everyone should learn a few generic life skills growing up.
Who says they don't? In my experience dating women half of them at least don't know how to cook as well as I do and as much as I enjoy cooking new things I mainly cook pretty basic stuff where a meal can be made in 30-40 mins tops.
I mean think about it, how can I guy ask for unconditional love and support and not give it back. Learning how to cook and putting in a part in cleaning is essential.
I learned and been cooking since I was 10 household chores should be a given... at least be able to to keep your place clean and organized and able to do your own laundry without any assistance
All my male friends have learned to cook. They have learned that if they want to eat well, they have to cook for themselves. Some have become very good, one even went to be a personal chef at home.

Erm... we do. What simp idiot cannot cook and clean for himself?
I've known some real murican's, but even they could manage some basic human functions like cook and clean.

The question implies men don’t cook and do household chores, which is utterly incorrect.
Men should be doing approximately half of the hous hold chores if both the In the relationship work full time. Given one person working part time or not at all the chore load should shift towards then just given the additional time they have
Yes, of course. All adults should be able to do basic cooking and cleaning.
Yes I think they should and I also think that guys today are spending more time in the kitchen and helping with the other household chores.
Yes, it's extremely important for men to learn how to take of themselves as well as women. All humans should be independent in basic house keeping skills
Yes, and this should also extend to things viewed as more masculine like changing car tires, etc... (not really sure why it is viewed as a man thing)
@nathanp97 exactly, i wish i knew how to do that stuff, that's why I've just started doing a apprenticeship in the British army because they are open to everyone and teach people grate skills that can carry people on in life
Good for you! That's a tad more extreme than what I ment, 😂 but I hope you have fun and learn a bunch

Should men learn how to be functioning adults? Umm, yes. Imagine being a grown ass man who doesn't know how to do laundry or clean the toilette.
His house would probably and no girl would want to come over lol😂

Yes, those are basic survival skills. Keeping your area clean and feeding yourself is something you should want to do. Not rely on others for.
Definitely to some extent. Because it makes the person better i. e. more disciplined, responsible and able.
