If a guy says he sorta kinda misses you, does that usually mean he doesn't?

I just talked to my ex and I told him I wanted to see how he was and that's why I was talking to him again and he said he "sorta kinda missed me lol". I told him I sorta kinda missed him maybe too and he said good we're on the same page. What's that mean? I'm not interested in getting back with him but I'm just wondering why would he say he sorta kinda missed me if he didn't? If he didn't, he shouldn't have said anything.

I'm not sure if he really does but why would he say he sorta kinda missed me instead of saying he just missed me? I broke up with him in December and cut off all contact with him so we ended things bad but I wanted to make sure we were officially done and to kill the bad tension.

ok...what he means.is...EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS!..he only misses you occassionly.\..point blank,the dude doesn't really really miss you the way you would want him to,.he is not 100% sincere.chances are,dont mean to be rude,but he may consider you just a booty call.if a guy really missed you,he would be really upfront and try phoning you,sending you texts until you reply.basically making a really great effort.so I say toss the douche,he doesn't deserve you!..be strong xoxo

yes as to what I said, I don't know if the guy feels the way I would, but you should be happy when he said that right?..since your not seeing each other for the past 5 to 6 months there is definitely doubts in your mind on this..but just go along with it and check if he really checks out when you start talking in person..you don't need to stress yourself thinking if he felt the same..i mean..you'll know once you see his actions when you meet up again =)

Idk. Even though I broke up with him, I wasn't really expecting him to be like I miss or sorta kinda missed you. It kinda made me be like kinda? why don't you miss me? lol But yeah I'll have to see what's up because I'm not sure if he still misses me or doesn't at all.
