Why does my ex keep contacting me when he's engaged?

For 4 years now he keeps contacting me.
He says things he shouldn't especially when he's drunk.
He lives in another country from me so impossible to see me.
He texts, facetimes, calls, snapchats me every 3-6 months.
If I reply and ask what's going on he just blocks me then does it again.
Why does he keep doing this?
The last year he kept asking me for nudes while he was in the middle of buying a house and proposing to his lovely girlfriend.

Why do you let him, if he's an ex and engaged, and you really didn't want contact with him, you'd block him instead of him blocking you... If he's in another country, and engaged, and the contact is unwanted, it'd be real easy to keep it no contact. It's not like he could just pop in unexpectedly if you block him. And that you don't, seems like maybe you want the contact 🤔

I get that, we can miss people, even when we know they're no good for us, but it's the not acting on those moments of weakness, that some people will exploit if you let them

You think a guy would risk his relationship for sexting?
He always blocks my number first or blocks me after sending the messages. Mainly due to the time difference I wake up to all these messages and he's already blocked me unfortunately.

Yes i do because he’s so persistent and he probably deletes messages so his fiancé won’t see them.
