My crush gave me a random compliment?

I have a huge crush on a guy. We flirt loads together and it usually gets sexual.

I saw him today and I had my hair down. I’d styled it slightly different to normal. He looked at me and said “your hair looks nice”

Then when I was talking to a mutual guy friend he looked at me again and complimented my hair again. He kept complimenting it, saying “I like your hair like this, it suits you in my opinion. Don’t go blonde or purple (I had purple hair for a few weeks) again, stay this colour (dark brown) because it’s really making your blue eyes stand out.”
Then the mutual friend said something and my crush said “look at the tone in her hair, it’s really nice”
My crush gave me a random compliment?
