I see no downside to you telling him you already have one because he's already told you he wants to partake in that kind of kink. But hey if he wants to buy you one then go for it. You will have a spare one. 😂
Jealousy and trust are traits that rarely go hand in hand. You SHOULD be able to tell him, and he should trust you. BUT, we both know that isn't going to happen.
Keep it hidden would be my advice.

Just be honest with him, tell him the truth. If he really loves you won't matter he won't care. If it does really bother bother him then get rid of it but accept that he is an asshole.
