Are there any signs or red flags that a guy just wants sex?

So, I recently had a crush on a very good looking guy that I met online. Initially he seemed like a great guy; very cool, interesting and we were getting along very well. I was smitten with him and I thought he felt the same.

Unfortunately I found out that the guy has been flirting and hitting on a thousand girls online (one of them actually accused him of sexually harassing her; it's a long story). I feel like an idiot for believing his cheap compliments and sweet talk.

I'm very scared that men I date will pretend to care about me, then use me and ditch me. If this has happened to you, in hindsight were there any red flags or clues?

If a guy is breathing and talking, then he is thinking about sex with you.

things like making it very very clear sex would not be on the cards for xx years, will move a lot of guys simply looking for sex on.

If it’s online always assume the other person is saying the same to a number of other people.

some even copy and paste stuff, this goes for both genders.

I really advise reading up on Social Engineering, it can help you spot if you are being played, …. Possibly..

Basically, any guy aged 16+ that approaches you without any apparent reason is most probably in just for the sexual fun. He does not hit you on because of your IQ, your shoes or the book you are reading.

Those online dating sites are by definition places where guys hunt for girls. They are not going to create a profile just to stay idle but they are known to hit on about every girl they find remotely good looking. If they were into something else than sex, they would read the bio and not just discard the picture after looking at it for 2 seconds.

Don't fool yourself. If you go on those dating sites, it is because you only want the one and only thing. People go to great lengths to give a false picture of themselves just to pick up a girl with the sole intention to get under her skirt.

I don’t trust anybody in social media. You just flirt i guess so you or him can talk with another people too. Social media is not real life. Sometimes we need someone who cares about us so we can fall for people easily and we think that it is love but i don’t think love is something like that. Hindsight is always perfect. Our society functions on trust, and there will always be people who will take advantage of that. There may be clues. However you must be open to them, and not dismiss them just because you want to believe he is truly into you.
Some clues:
1. If you meet the guy in a bar. Bars are exclusively for hook ups.
2. If a guy can’t stick around for 3 dates without sex.
3. Lack of curiosity. He should be asking you to tell him more about your family, your job, your hobbies... not just listening to you talk or talking about himself.

Many guys online have got laid several times with strangers online and most times that is all they fish for. Personally, I hardly take any girl I meet online serious. I have a rule, I must meet you face to face first.
