When are guys interested?

There's a guy I've had a "crush on" for over a year but am super shy about being the one to message him or talk to him in person. I work with his family and everyone wants us to try to get together and tease both of us about it. Those I work with say that everytime they mention it to him he blushes and get awkward and smiley... but he hasn't reached out yet either.
Is this a sign that he could be into me but shy, or that he's just embarrassed and isn't interested?

I read so many messages about people wondering and trying to guess and asking strangers on the internet to tell them what to do, instead of just interacting with the real person right in front of them. JUST TALK TO THE PERSON.

You are shy. He is shy. So what are you going to do, suffer and wonder and drive yourself crazy trying to analyze every little thing to try and suss it out?

What are you worried about... you tell him how you feel, and maybe he rejects you. Is that what you fear? Well wouldn't it be better to know rather than waste a ton of time and emotional energy on someone who never intends to be interested in you?

What if he IS really interested in you? You are wasting time when you could instead be embarking on a really exciting relationship. Don't sit there pondering. Grab life and go find out!

Ponder this: What if you sit and wonder and be all shy and afraid, and then some other woman goes after him and he starts a relationship because he never knew you were even interested. You want to sit on the sideline and let life pass you by? You want to miss your chance?

The only way to figure it out is to talk to him and tell him how you feel. What are you waiting for? Stop guessing and wondering. Start your new romance.

He has no idea if you are interested or not, so why would he make a move? You can't just show up and expect the guy to do all the work.
