Why is he so friendly despite not knowing me so well?

I asked guy a question about a product and he went to look information of the product from their website for me. Is he trying to impress me?
It wasn’t even something important that I asked. It was about a drink that he posted about lol.
He didn’t have to go out of his way for that.

He's just being helpful. Looking up a product doesn't exactly take much effort. It's certainly not enough to indicate whether or not he has a thing for you.

How can I tell if he’s interested 😫. He doesn’t initiate conversation but he views every single story of mine and often within minutes. He responds to me promptly and he’s messages are lenghty.

Maybe he was interested. Sometimes I'll do something like that without being asked or thinking and I don't necessarily have feelings for the person.
