It's because he's being nice to you because he wants sex or a girlfriend. Nobody likes when a random person comes up to you and acts nice, so they can get money off of you. It's fake and that's just your insist telling you not to. Someone who shows you genuine empathy and is nice to you because they're a good person, that's what people like. people who are real. Not someone saying nice things to get something from you.
