It's quite unusual I think for 2 people to be equally interested in each other at the same time. Sometimes the guy is more interested sometime the woman is. Sometimes the one who is more interested tries to put more weight to the situation then it deserves. And therefore feel they're being given mixed signal when really they aren't. In actuality they're creating something that isn't. There simply because they want it to be.
Wouldn't be nice if everyone was straight up honest with each other. But sometimes the woman just doesn't want to hurt the guy Sometimes she just enjoys his interest too much to tell him she's not interested. So she just basks in the adulation. Sometimes it's men that is doing this.
One thing is for sure this is a question that will never have just 1 answer. Lol

In order to come off as mysterious in order to peak a man's interest. a lot of women feel if they start showing interest they'll run a man away. So most women will play hot/cold in order to spark a man's interest. But a man who is truly interested will show you none of these behaviors matter. Men are a lot more straight forward than we give them credit for. They may not say they aren't interested in a woman but they will show it in their actions
