Why is he distant after sharing deep stuff?

He asked me once why I liked him. Last Friday I asked him what had interested him about me when we first met and he answered that who I am as a person, how I act in general and that he enjoys talking with me which for him is very rare, reason why he's been single for a while now. Next day he started acting a little bit different. He's still texting me sending me memes, but I feel something is different. (He's on holiday so we haven't seen each other in a couple days). Why could it be?

Honestly, there's a chance that after sharing that he's begun to think of other deep stuff. Once you share something like that you start thinking about all the other stuff that you don't really like to share with anybody else sometimes. You start to wonder "what else can I say?" or "should even I tell her this?" or "maybe I shouldn't ever tell her this?" there's a long list of things really. After you do the one you sometimes wonder what else can I say or should I say?
