I’m not trying to define what manly is. I’m asking about feelings so the criteria isn’t important. Let’s say you are very much attracted to a guy and find him to very masculine and you all are dating and it’s going great you get doing famously, and at some point he tells you if his fondness for dressing in dresses at home.
How would you react.

Perfectly fine with it. I'd only have a problem if he looked better in a dress than me. Seriously though, as long as you are covered for the most part, I dont care what you want to wear. Even if he wants to go out wearing one, cool. I'll help him pick shoes to go with it.
I never date men... but I can say that I would not mind to be friends with someone like that, and I would not think much of it really
we humans are quite complex, and we should not be defined by just one thing we like to do, or... to be, especially when it comes to the intimacy or the privacy of your home or relationships
as an example, two of my best friends, which I met when we were all around 18... and they were a couple, and most of our friendship was based around college life... and the bar we liked to go to (to play as a band) and it was till years later that I found out that he was also bisexual, and she was also a stripper... lol
and to find out about that, it was surprising just because I never expected it, and I never expected it because I never gave thoughts to any of that, why would I... so I wasn't shocked or thrown off or weirded out or anything... all the good and great reasons why I was good friends with them, they were all still there so nothing much changed
I like to get to know people and understand them for ALL of what they are, who they are and how they are... everything as a whole, I rather not focus on just one thing and then decide if they are "good or bad" for me, based on just one thing
sure, there can be some "one things" that are awful and not acceptable to me, but not this one thing... if they like to dress in any way at the privacy of their households, that does not bother me at all... not even if they wear Nickelback t-shirts
i still feel most women go for pretty men rather than a guy with nothing else to offer than intimidation in musculature. it is a sliding scale though that should be evaluated more than it has
I don’t even think very masculine is high on many peoples list normally some mix yet a dress somehow is too much. There are of course preferences for extreme ends of the spectrum but you really see in general a mix.
I wear suits all the time it’s funny to me that it’s funny to see guys in dresses. I suppose as with anything else it is also about it suiting the person wearing it.,
I don't mind feminine men, hell metrosexual men are my ideal type but from reading partner confessions on the internet, the men who wear female clothes in private are usually transwomen in the making and I'm not into that...
Well I wouldn’t be dating a guy, manly or not. But if I was dating a girl who secretly wore guys clothes at home as a fetish - I don’t even know if that’s a thing, I would consider that a red flag and probably break up with them. I saw an interview of a woman who transitioned after she had a daughter with her husband. The two, now gay couple are now transitioning their 5 year old daughter to a son. This is more of an extreme example, but therefore is just too much weird stuff these days that I don’t want to deal with.
I suspected this was a thing but this comfirms it. Odd but whatever floats his boat. Maybe he should try Kilts sometime. Nothing's manlier than wearing a kilt lol.
I technically wouldn't wear a dress but I think he should be able to wear whatever he see fit, if woman can be allowed to wear suits why can't some men not be allowed to wear a dress?
We usually live in a double standards world, most of people allow men to do certain things while giving crap for the same thing and the same is in vice versa women can do certain things but people would bash men for the exact same thing.
It would all depend on how we got along together. Guys having some feminine aspects can be a lot easier to deal with than the ones who turn out to have hygiene issues or whose masculinity is constantly way too far over on the sex as an olympic sport side. Of course, it also matters what he looks like in that dress. Not sure that I could go with hairy legs under sheer ten denier pantyhose.
We have enough fricken weirdos out there. Same old merry-go-round, job at a different weirdo. Gives me the creeps. Has everyone just gone fricken crazy and do whatever the heck they want to and force everyone that their fricken weirdness should be ok by everyone? You do realize men wore kilts and smocks long before pants were even though of. No one said anything about forcing it on you.. He is or was doing it in private.
Yeah I would say more than 99% of women would not be attracted to men in women’s clothing. Not that there is anything wrong with it! It will just turn off women
I’m not suggesting you date anyone who wears dresses just that you see yourself as feminine and wear pants, so why in your opinion couldn’t the same mix apply to a guy?
Oh- I'd like to add something. (It just occurred to me; sorry!) I think that if he bullies other men or puts them down in any way, then he deserves to be roasted for what he does in private. (But if he's a nice guy and treats others decently, then it's okay.)

There was research a couple years ago *2019* , I'll see if I can find it . Basically , the study claimed most women go for masculine men even the most progressive and opened minded women.
I don't know I think masculine means diff things to diff people also I really thought most men and women tend to be attracted to people with a mix of masc/ fem energy whatever that means to them. W/ maybe like 60/40 men 40/60 women, respectively.
He can do whatever he wants but it's a good thing he has already established himself and that women are already charmed by him for this to not affect him that much if at all.
If he was just a regular dude and images of him in a dress leaked, his dating life would be far more miserable. Ladies would take one look at this guy and say "I already have a pussy I don't need another".
@Daniela1982 Skirt. Usually a black mini skater skirt. In fact, I think I'm gonna start wearing them around the house, too!! I was just carrying a huge stack of records up here to the 2nd floor 4 hours ago and my big toe on the right caught in the hem of the left leg and I damn near fell over and lost all the records!! About an hour ago, I was just walking around up here and the same thing happened!!
@Daniela1982 I'd rather wear a skirt like guys did a couple thousand years ago. Besides, if I rolled them up, chances are, climbing the stairs would make them fall back down and I'd be right back where I started! What's wrong with guys wearing skirts? I wore a skirt to work one day and nearly everyone there thought it was great, especially the women! @Daniela1982 I guess you never saw Ben Hur or Caligula. And, there's lots of Polish men that wear traditional garb that includes very flared and at least somewhat frilly skirts that barely come to their knees. Are you just afraid that we'll become competition for you as far as buying the stuff you want to wear? I've had guys show up at my band's gig and walk up to me in a skirt and tell me they were wearing it in my honour!!
