Girls, Why do men feel the need to act so macho?

In my martial arts class, the guys all act so macho and pretend like women don’t belong because we’re not as big or strong as them

Sometimes I find the exact same in my martial arts class - especially with the younger guys 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s just their testosterone levels - they want to feel and to be seen as big and strong. I always try a little harder to beat those guys! 🙋🏼‍♀️

Are you sure it's men and not boys? It's a typical behavious for both sexes - lifting yourself up by putting someone else down. It's a sign of insecurity. Also a guy who's cocky, whether it's real or an act is always, in every situation bad news. Stay away.

Nothing worse than two macho guys fighting over someone, or yourself. I am not a fan of macho guys, but it seems to be an alpha male trait. The others are less likely to be macho like that.

I have not done anything like that, but if it is allowed I would use every advantage I can. I assume they are trained to block properly there and just need better motivation to do so.

Yeah they use their size advantage over women so I think it’s only fair we can go for their weakspot. It does kinda surprise me that the muscular guys can’t even take a light hit to the nuts without dropping to the ground

Because those are sexist guys. The only time when I find guys act macho attractive is when they are trying to impress their girlfriend or a girl. Why? Because that’s what men do and I love myself a nacho guy.

In short, partiarchy has created the false idea that men should be expected to be strong and women fragile/weak. It's outdated and unnecessary but it's what we all get taught for some reason

Yeah, I’ve wrestled before and also did some krav it’s quite annoying but at the same time most guys aren’t like that. I also have several hot guys in my class. No idea why some them don’t wear cups..

I’ve worked Security and ARMED, and all those male-oriented jobs. And always you’ll find some fool that acts macho. Those are the type to belittle women because they feel like they can. Be careful
