Why was he suspicious?

So far I’ve just chatted with this guy on social media. I bumped into him in public accidentally recently. Usually we don’t come across in public. I told him this.

Then he said: why didn’t you say hi to me or pull me from my sleeve :D

When I told him that I didn’t say hi because I was wearing a mask and talking on the phone. He then said ” next time remember to pull me from my sleeve if you see me without a mask and you’re wearing one 🧐”

I don’t know what he meant by that suspicious emoji.

Means nothing more to me than what he clearly said with words... simply that if u see him, don't ignore and stop him to talk

Does he sound like that he likes me? Why would he care wether I stop him or not. For now we’re just chatting. I do like him though.

He like being around u throughout the day via chat... and yk that excitement of seeing someone who lives somewhere around but not met yet... and id say whyd he not care for u to stop him or not cuz things are goin fine in chat so far im assuming... so instead of why id say why not

But does it sound like he’s interested? It’s funny how he used suspicious emoji. Once before he asked me about why he can’t see our previous messages in chat thread with that same suspicious emoji ( he didn’t know that it was because of Instagram outage. I didn’t delete any messages) .

I think he is used to that emoji... uses it often... and it sounds more like excited cuz likes as person/chat buddy for now... once he meet u then he may like u or not and then things might take turn positively or negatively... for now i cannot tell if he is interested in that way

That didn’t sound excitement lol. He was suspicious about why I didn’t stop him or that if I don’t stop him next time it’s suspicious. That’s how it came across to me.

Also in that conversation I told him that when I saw him he was wearing black beanie and at first I wasn’t sure that it was him. The next day I noticed that he changed his display picture to more close pic of his face and him wearing a black beanie. Coincidence?

He did purposely id say... and just ask him for exact answers that is no big deal... either on chat or once u meet him... better to let him know bout how u feel that maybe more or lowkey or average liking just let him have clarity

He seems like he’s becoming needy or really wants my attention. It doesn’t bother me. He seems like he’s starting to like me.
