Why did he pick the "lesser" girl over me?

Two weeks ago I confessed to my crush when I was drunk. He showed *very* clear signs he likes me over the span of four months. When I told him he asked why and said something like "you're just drunk" and told my friend I'm too pretty for him

On Monday he told me he has a girlfriend since Saturday. I just said okay. This will sound arrogant but I know I look very good and especially better than his now girlfriend (Sorry for being rude) To paint a picture people tell me I look like Anna Nicole Smith and this girl is out of shape, has glasses that look like Jeffrey Dahmer's and overall just doesn't have a pretty face in my opinion. Yes I know personality plays a role but? Does he just not have self esteem like my friends told me or is everyone just lying to me

well i see one personality flaw of yours. "i confessed my feelings while drunk" comes across as either you only feel that way about him while drunk (huge turn off for me) or you can only express those feelings while drunk (huge turn off) . along same lines as the second possibility listed above is he may have been waiting on you to give a clear signal of intetest and found someone else while you waited on him to make the 1st move off what signaks you may have given (often not very clear in my experiences) . then there is the persinality flaw of over-caring about superficial things like looks (which is very subjective) .

Most likely what you see as good looking differs from what men see as good looking. When men compliment you, most likely they are just being nice. No guy will tell you that you are ugly. He used to hug me a lot randomly, he touched my arms a lot and hair. He used to and still does stand around me and brushes against me all the time. He called me his angel and one time he cried on me. He also told my friend I'm too pretty him and when I told him I have a crush on him he asked why and said "you're just drunk"

Both can exist at the same time. He could find her attractive and believe she's "in his league" at the same time, whereas he may view you as being outside of it. Why does it matter? He's with her now. You don't need to put her down because he chose her.
