Why does this guy avoid staring/looking at me now, but before stared non-stop and was smiling?

He's embarrassed maybe. Maybe was trying to get to know you and thought you were attractive or something and you did something to belittle him somehow? Could be a case along the lines of a friend zone scenario? I can't say for sure and honestly wasn't taking a jab at you personally, but I've been there. Just feel worthless and looking at that person diminishes you even more.
Or something completely different lol, but thats my thought from experience. Maybe just try and talk to him?

He might not feel like he’s good enough for me but I don’t want him to think that. I know it sounds weird but something about him makes me so happy whenever I see him. He’s the only guy I really think about.
I’m shy around him too but I know I dress a little flashy and that might intimidated him. I just like fashion LOL.
So I’m trying to find him and say hi and just be kind.

I’m a depressed person myself so I can pick up on it sometimes in others. I sense it’s something similar with him based on his energy. Sounds weird and I could be massively wrong but every time I see him it makes me so happy... however I’ve seen him check out other women around though.
