Why an I feeling sad over a guy I wasn't never a n a relationship, Can it he love of my life?

Not to long ago I came across childhood and highschool crush Juan Longoria. I got the courage to write Juan Longoria a letter but I was to late I left town right after I graduated high school. Juan Longoria did wrote me back but it is the hurtful. Some teenage drama it's a long story. In the letter Juan Longoria sent me he confess about driving past by my mom's house during all these years 2012 ,2013 , 2014 until 2016 he give up because I was never a no show. Apparently he did liked me but he was scare of rejection later the rumors but in the letter he confess that he like me and he would glance at me and gaze at me as a form of communication for me to make the next move but shyness got on my way. It's complicated I must sacrifice myself and move forward. I feel I can be at peace now. The thing is this Juan Longoria and I never said a word to each other during the time we attended the same schools only a few times back in middle school. I feel sadness.

Well, I suppose you could reconnect with him now, but as I remember you live far apart now so that wouldn’t be easy. It is sad to wonder what might have been, especially when the relationship you actually had was troubled and fell apart. I (having been shy when I was young) and a couple of people who went to high school with me have similar stories. It is okay to feel sadness about this. You have been through a lot, and coming to terms with regrets is part of healing, and healing is what will allow you to have the best possible future.

True I agree, So wait you had friends from highschool that had crush on people and they didn't know until years later?

Well, I didn’t approach girls then because I was too shy. Looking back on it, one of them was attracted to me. I knew of other cases, one of which was very regrettable as both the guy and girl ended up in abusive relationships, but can’t be too detailed outside of DMs.
