So i met this guy online and we agreed on just casually having sex when he is in town for work (he lives in the u. s. and i’m from Europe). We hooked up two times and i noticed that he’s starting to like me. Then he left back to the u. s. and we kept in touch by sending each other some kind of flirty texts. Now he is coming to Europe after two months and i wanna show him that i care about him and like him too. Would it be weird if i gently kissed him on the cheek as a way of greeting? For me, it’s like the way to say «i really missed you and i’m so glad that you’re back» but wouldn't it seem to be strange and too much for him? I mean, when we greet each other we just hug, all the kisses and emotions come later when we have sex. So guys, how would you react if a girl did that to you?

No, I'd be more surprised in receiving a kiss at all tbh. Like back when I did a lot of lighting and sound work for a theater group, I accidentally wished someone good luck instead of the traditional saying. When I corrected my self, and told her to break a leg, she kissed me on the cheek. So did a couple other women when I wished them well. I didn't know that was a theater tradition.

You chose a casual relationship. I think at this point you should not be surprised by any reaction when you appear to "put the brakes on to make it more meaningful". It would certainly confuse me if you slept with me, then only wanted to kiss me on the cheek. Then again I don't do casual relationships. So I would NEVER sleep with a woman unless I loved her. So maybe I'm not the right person to give you your answer.

Yes, in my country we usually do that when we greet another girl or a woman. It's usually a brief kiss on each cheek. When we greet a man, it's usually a handshake or a hug if you know him well. What i wanna give him is a gentle but sensual kiss, would it be too much?
