All my friends on the fatter side are absolutely stunning women and beat my skinny ass any day (it's not a coincidence their dating lives are much more fun than mine after all). Not all women like the same body type just like not all men do it too. In theory skinny is pretty but the only attractive thing about skinny women irl are small waists and everyone knows that who really got game are the fat and thick women. Your preference for skinny is pretty much more uncommon than men who think thick is sexy.

Biologically they have little value from a reproductive aspect. And men instinctively know this.
Evolution has designed man to seek out a woman with "meat" on her bones - not obese but with curves. Back in the day (which in some areas of the US ended 1930-50s) when food was scarce and starvation common it was far, far, far, far more common for women with "meat" on her bones to survive childbirth & to have a healthy infant through the first formative months.
Whereas a skinny woman implies poverty, lack of resources, and a very very very low success rate for her to survive childhood or to have a healthy infant. Logical if she barely has enough resources to sustain herself how can she possibly have a healthy child? .
Because once you move past youth (naturally limited) and health (widespread these days), you're left with fertility, and the markers of that are wide hips, large breasts, and general body fat to sustain a baby through development and birth. The real question is why so many people lost the knowledge that "thick" is spelled with a K.
Everybody has their own preferences and types. Just because someone is attracted to thicker or bigger women, doesn’t mean they couldn’t pull a skinny woman if they wanted to.

I've always been "thick". Smallest size I ever was was a medium and pants size 10 b/c my ass and hips are too wide/big. Guys would ask if I was mixed! Back in the day though, thick girls weren't as predominately accepted as they are today. I got teased a lot in school. It wasn't until after high school, early '00's, that I got positive attention from guys. Unfortunately, I liked that attention too much and did a lot of dumb shit. They need to stop promoting a woman based just on her body and looks. That all fades in due time! Just be you!
