Does my crush like his other female friend?

Our group of friends hung out last night and one of my guy friends (my crush) had invited his female friend who is in town a few days, she lives far away due to studies, to join us. We had some drinks out.

When we all were heading home he joked with her and kinda pinched her waist. Further ahead she said ”Well this is where I leave you” cause we had reached her hotel. My guy friend went to her and gave her a long hug. I heard her say ”Text me tomorrow if you wanna hang out”. He replied ”absolutely”.

How would you interpret this situation? Does he like her as more than a friend?
Does my crush like his other female friend?
