Guy's Behavior

He doesn't want to spend time with me?

I was extra excited when my boyfriend told me there is a new huge pool near his house
He told me when he feels better after surgery we will go
I said today:"omg can't wait to go to the pool, i wanna buy new bikini. hope we can go as soon as posible"
His answer:"the pool is not going anywhere"
... what?
I said it in a sense that the sooner we go, the sooner it means he feels better
But his reaction really sucked
Why he said it?
wouldn't you tell your girl:"F yeah we gonna go and have great time there"
Wtf answer was that
He doesn't want to spend time with me?
