Boyfriend always want to spend time together?

We've been together for 5+ years. I feel like my boyfriend doesn't give me a space for me time as his characteristics is togetherness release his stress out

I feel tired to accompany him every day (we work together), we spend weekend together. Lately, I feel bad mood and doesn't show happiness when go out with him

Then he said 'I want to be happy thats why I ask you to go out, but you seem doesn't give me anymore happiness'

Then I replied with 'I want my me time, I don't want to go out just for a day. I refuse your request but you keep insisting me to go out with you.'

Nevertheless my answer is, he always pick me up. Of course, I feel bad if I abandon him

I want to move on but it will definitely kill me.
