My ex randomly rings me?

My ex rang me last night but I missed the call after two/three hours I returned the call but he didn’t answer. I messaged him the next day in the afternoon saying ‘ how come you rang ‘ it’s just so random him ringing me out the blue. He knows I’ve moved on with my life. Don't you guys think it’s weird too

1. t wasn't "random." He did it for a speific reason.

2. That he tried to call is not as weird as you saying you've moved on but you tried to return the call AND then texted him the next day. You made more effort than him, Did you say you had moved forward?

Tbh it’s been more than a year since we broke up and we was on and off with eachother. He tried to get back with me last month but I said to him I wasn’t interested and I can’t wait for him. So that’s why I was just curious to why he was ringing again
