Why hasn't he liked my profile photo?

so there's this guy who i'm flirting with, we have done things in the past and it's been years since. he used to heart react/like some of my photos, i noticed that he heart reacted his ex's profile photo (this was about 3 months ago) - i don't have her on facebook but i do have a mutual friend between us on there.
i updated my profile pic today and he hasn't liked it let alone heart reacted to it (i didn't upload it for him, but i was expecting at least a like i guess). we are trying to keep things secret because we both know how his friend group (my ex friend group) would react and never let it go to the point where he'd get so tired of hearing about it he'd likely stop things. (i can't know for sure but considering the kind of guy he is.. it's likely) he's the type of guy to be hot and cold, especially if things don't go his way so he's somewhat of a game player.
i mean, if you're into someone i would of thought you would like their picture as a sort of.. "i see you looking good there" type thing.

so i guess there's a few things i can think of,
-he's doing it as a game, to make me wonder why he hasn't liked my pic to make me think about him more.
-he's not liked it because he doesn't want our mutual friend to see he's liked it or give the hint he's into me.
-He generally isn't that attracted to me but doesn't mind banging.
have you ever done this yourselves with anyone and did it mean you weren't all that into them or?

we only have one mutual friend on facebook,
i can't stand the thought of him playing games, there's no need i made it clear that i want him sexually. so good to see it may be down to keeping things down low :)
