Response to a person slapping you in the face?

If it was a guy I’d probably cower and run away.

first... I would think about what have I done to deserve a slap...

and if I deserved it, I would just take it, lmao... that's what I get for being shitty to someone

and if I did not deserve it, then I would think further about the consequences if I wanted to escalate the situation, in most situations, I would just probably let it go

it is all about the circumstances, the context and the detail

because let's be honest... if it were Mike Tyson out of control and crazy the one who just slapped you, you would then have to better keep your distance instead of striking back, lol

A man is getting punched. A woman will depend - a light slap because she's upset at something I'd probably let go, especially if I knew she was in pain. A heavy slap, or an indignant one, is going to be responded to in kind, and FAR faster than she'd be expecting it.

I don't initiate violence against anyone, but if it's initiated against me, I'm usually going to respond, because that's how people learn not to use violence when they should be using words.

Well I would've already intercepted it (or dodged) and either get away or ask what on earth is their problem.

If I'm caught off guard by any chance and had been slapped then I'll evaluate the situation, make a decision and then act accordingly.

If you didn't, you call 911 and request EMS to come get them up from the floor and take them to the hospital.

I was shocked when it happened to me it happened out of nowhere with the guy I was seeing at the time I was a weak person at the time and didn't have the guts to say or do anything I was also scared as he had been emotionally abusing me but if it were to happen again, I know I am stronger and I wouldn't hesitate to call the cops on him for assaulting me

Difficult to tell for sure what I would do if someone slapped me in the face. That depends on circumstances, the person involved, and the reason. If I deserved the slap for some reason, I'd apologize for whatever wrong I'd be responsible for. If undeserved I'd probably try to dodge and maybe slap back. I'm not convinced about the practical side of Jesus' teachings in the field, but who knows in case of doubt...

I've never had anyone try to slap me in earnest before lol. Lots of punches though, very few of which found their mark, fewer still did any damage.

The only time I've really been decked is when a friend betrayed me and sucker punched me out of nowhere as a kid.

I would be totally surprised if I was slapped by a woman. Then I would go and start evaluating what I did to to receive the strike. Then I would approach and ask for forgiveness of what I might have done. I was taught you would never strike any anyone in anger.
