My internet best friend who has a crush on me asked me for swimsuit pics, is that creepy?

We knew each other and chatted everyday for 1 year now. The only thing we did was to send each other normal pictures in normal clothes (also childhood pics etc). But now he also wants to see me in a swimsuit. He tells me that since I show myself in my swimsuit to strangers, I should be able to show myself to him as well.

I did make it clear several times that I want to set boundaries to our friendship so it's not like I was leading him on or anything. And he only confessed that he has a crush on me yesterday.

If your trying to set boundaries and he's not respecting that then either he shouldn't be friends with you or you need to have a serious conversation. You still have a say in what you send or show to people. I'm assuming by "showing yourself to strangers" means Instagram or social media. If he wants to see then he can go on there.
