What reply do you think I should give to a guy who confessed to me?

I am friends with this guy who confessed to me yesterday I told. him well talk later... and I wasn't in the mood... tbh I was sad about something else.. so I couldn't give a proper reply... i am kinda like a person who gets afraid and nervous when someone confess to me.. and its like I have fear of being confessed to... i like this guy a bit... but I am not.. so sure what reply to give.. him.. coz I am scared... i was hoping to like open up to him. and not say the fact I like him a bit... but just tell him to do what he want after listening to what I had to say...

what do you guys think any piece of advice? i don't wanna tell him that I like him yet tho..
