Why did my crush lead me on and then ghost me when I told him I caught feelings?

Me and this guy have been having fun for about 6 months. We initially agreed on just that. We have incredible chemistry. I didn't think we would stay in contact this long. He does a lot of sweet things to catch my attention or show me that he's thinking of me.

He has always approached me first and we have become closer and our dynamic has changed for something that feels more serious (like a partnership) so I finally told him I had feelings for him last night and he just ghosted me.

I'm confused as I've been nothing but amazing to him and I feel disrespected for the fact that he just disappeared. Why would someone do that to someone they supposedly care about?

I'll assume 'having fun' means friends with benefits here. So why are you claiming that he 'led you on' when you had no committed relationship? That's bullshit, you knew the deal and decided that you wanted to change it. That is on YOU, not him. Why did you agree to friends with benefits to begin with? Girls ALWAYS think if they fuck a guy enough he will change his mind and commit later. Nope, not gonna happen. You are not taking any accountability for how the situation played out. No big surprise.

he treated you as a female best friend. I guess his intention was pure like me , when I was being so nice to guy friends, they started to have feeling for me, in fact I liked other guy, not them... so because of that I had to run away from them
