What does it mean when a man calls you his queen?

Him and I are not in a relationship. We’ve been talking for awhile and expressed we both have feelings for each other. Today we were talking about the weather and he said “cuddle season is upon us my queen”. What does it mean when a man calls you that? Just curious honestly.

No offense, but I cringe when I hear people refer to themselves or others as kings and queens. When they call themselves that it's usually overcompensation for having an inferiority complex of some kind. They feel less-than others so they try to label themselves as a "Queen" to present themselves as above others.

When some guys go around calling women "Queens" I think they're trying a little too hard. I would go with "Honey or Sweetie" but not "My Queen" that's a bit too much in my opinion.
