High school guys usually tend to go for girls they’re friends with. I have no idea how to make guy friends?

I’ve noticed 99% of the time with high school boys (at least the good ones) they end up dating girls they’re close to or friends with. The ones that just go up to girls which is pretty rare are usually cocky, have a ton of girls, looking for sex, and are pretty superficial as they are just coming up to you based on your looks. Problem I can’t seem to make any guy friends my whole life I’ve only been friends with girls. On top of that the guys I like are always very introverted so somehow they’ll start being friends with some other extroverted girl before I get the chance to talk to them and then there in love and whatever the fuck because they don’t talk to girls that much and this one made him laugh and now she’s special🙄 how do I become friends with guys?

Well in order to be friends of those boys you call the hood ones you almost always have to be hot, sexy, cute, etc, because it’s usually the men who try to initiate those friendships. In his mind he wants to be closer to her to potentially hook up or date her. You just said yourself about 99% of them date the girls they’re friends w or hook up w.

I‘d consider myself pretty I’ve been an asked out and approached but never but he ruined kind types of guys and those types tend to date girls they’re friends with. I don’t know how to make guy friends and I doubt introverted boys would just walk up to me and start conversation because I know I definitely wouldn’t walk up to them unless I had an excuse.

Well considering yourself pretty and being pretty are two different things. A lot of women say they’re friends are pretty or gorgeous when they’re really not.

Funny you don’t think I am pretty despite me telling you I’m pretty knowing I’ve lived in my own body for 17 years, I’ve been asked my agencies to model on multiple occasions, I have modeled on multiple occasions, and I am telling you myself I am pretty. Whether you believe it or not it up to you but if your only advice is get pretty then that doesn’t help at all. As I said before I get approached but my type doesn’t approach people (even talking to guys who liked me they’ve said I’m intimidating)

Trust me I’m not being mean. I’m as calm as a sunny day in a beach. You’re taking it as being mean. You wanted people to answer so I’m being as honest as I can. If you are as pretty as you say you are than it’s more than likely your personality. Maybe some vibe you give off that attracts these type of boys

What type of energy can attract introverted guys logical then? If you tell a girl she un attractive and that she’s lying about being at least decently attractive yeah that’s gonna come across as rude. I don’t think you’d be the right person to get advice from since you’re not thinking or apart of the demographic of guy I’m trying to attract. Thank you for the response no less that’s all.

The reality is there is no guide to becoming friends with guys. Some things you might try is

1. joining club that a guys in

2. Talking to guys about their interest.

3. Saying hi and being friendly with guys

The biggest thing to becoming friends with guys.

Joining clubs makes sense but how do you even get an excuse to talk up to guy and start asking him about himself or start saying hi to random boys? I feel liked they’d just be confused why I’m trying to talk to them and feel annoyed.

You need no excuse, just start talking to them. If they are rude to you for simply having the "audacity" to to talk to them maybe they aren't the type of people you want to be friends with.

I’m 17 but you have to put 18 to join I’m pretty sure and I’m still in high school. Even if I were other though I wouldn’t wanna go out with I guy I wasn’t decently close with so I still need to make make friends.

Not sure but when you sign up you have to be 18 or older im pretty sure maybe you can change it somewhere in your settings? I’m not even trying to wait around I’m actively trying to learn how to make guy friends, that’s my question?

Just tell him you are interested in a relationship with him, but you would like to see his qualities as a friend first. Don't beat around the bush, and be straightforward, so it is clear as to what you want.
