I (F30) have been going to the spa regularly for massages and facials since the beginning of 2022 as pet of my self care. My regular massage therapist (F) left the company, and was replaced by a new therapist. I scheduled to go in the following month but couldn’t make the appointment so had to reschedule. When I went into the spa (roughly 2 months since my last appointment) I had a new therapist (M30). Pre-pandemic, I’ve been to the spa regularly so the staff knew me and we all treated each other rather nicely (like family). This new therapist I’ve never seen before (later found out he was newly hired during the month I couldn’t make it in). When I say this guy is VERY handsome… Wow! And he does decent work at massages. After speaking to him, he’s been in the business for 10 years. After the massage I let it be known to the two ladies at the front “this man is cute! Where did y’all find him?” Fast forward, I kept scheduling my massages with him, and I got to know him better. We actually clicked and vibe quite well. Our conversations went from pleasantries and professional responses with minimal talking, to discussing cultural differences and similarities (he’s Arab, I’m Black), his upbringing and schooling, funny stories, and crazy experiences as a massage therapist through the years. My second massage with him (and he said it again during my last massage) he told me how much he makes without me asking (I was shocked but made no comment on it). He goes over the massage times every time (which he conflicts with my facial or other therapists😂). We got so animated that during a body treatment which was in a shower room, we got so loud the whole spa heard us (we weren’t doing anything but talking and laughing). One of the receptionist told me “I think he likes you. He does things for you he doesn’t do for any other client. He doesn’t talk to them after the massage ends; he doesn’t run up to the front to hang out with them; he doesn’t do extra things for them either
