Leaving my boyfriend “speechless” through text?

First of all, saying this out loud I know I’m probably gunnu sound dumb af but I can’t process what happened 😬 My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship so we communicate over the phone, text, video call, and Xbox when we game.

Anyhow, we do the “I love you more” thing a lot. Last night he started it and I responded with “I love you more than bacon” with a sizzling bacon gif…. well, exactly what was said is in the picture. Usually we go back and forth for awhile but it ended quickly. I meant what I said however I’m not used to it shutting down so quickly so I don’t understand why he was “speechless.”

I know I probably sound dumb af but I just can’t process it 😩

You just won. He didn't have a clever comeback ready so he countered with wanting to have you close. Which presumably is meant to validate you by being very genuine. It was a good thing.

Next time he might have thought up some clever comeback to see if he can stun you. That or he your own bacon might be in trouble.
