Why did he say this in text?

My boss said we didn’t have a meeting today in text. But instead of saying that he said “ no meeting today, it’s my anniversary with my beautiful wife of 15 years….”

like okay? I would never text an employee that…. He could have just said no meeting it’s my anniversary. The boys on my team did NOT get a text like that. This guy has flirted with me in the past too. I’m 16 years younger than him and I know he’s attracted to me. Why would a man say that?

It might be appropriate for you to comment the next time he makes out-of-bounds remarks "Can we keep our conversation professional?" But only you would know how well that would work.

Maybe because he was trying to prove to his wife that he wasn't ashamed of her/flirting with others. Or maybe he felt like he was making you jealous. Hopefully there aren't any unwanted advances that you might need to report to someone over his head.

He's a creeper and wants to show you he’s a good man a committed man, but he’s trying to sleep with you whiles “hes married to his beautiful of 15 years” has he told you he’s attracted to you/hit on you or did you just kinda catch him peaking

No he has never actually tried to sleep with me, but he has said other inappropriate things about sex and my appearance…. He flirts with me sometimes and I catch him staring at me all the time. Sometimes we lock eyes for more than a few seconds.
