Why do guys leave you on read?

He has always texted me back when I text him. This time I sent him a meme on insta and said something funny he didn’t even reply. When I post stories on insta he watches all of them 100 percent of them. He showed some signs of having a crush even if it’s a little one in person while hanging out with a group of friends. If he doesn’t have a crush on me why would he keep up with all my stories. I know people are gonna say I’m obsessing over a small thing. But think about it with me he follows 1213 his feed must be full majority of his followers/ following are girls. Guys that watch my story are trying to take me out imma be honest. My cousins don’t even watch my story because they are too busy looking at their crushes stuff so my stuff doesn’t matter. That why I wonder what makes a man look at all your stories every single time?

Some people watch stories like a "TV", they just let them scroll without interacting actively with them. If you conversated a lot, you pop up as one of the first stories in the list. But even if he actively clicks on your stories, it doesn't mean he is "into" you, this is not a dating app so the fact you see stories of people doesn't mean you are trying to tell them something, it just means you were bored and clicked out of curiosity, a small amount of interest is needed to do that. I watch stories of anyone, males or females, out of complete random boredom, and the last people I talked with, or the people I talked the most with, stay at the beginning of the list, so I am more likely to see them (and viceversa).
One thing is sure: ghosting is a bad sign in any case, no matter other opposite signals you try to read on it. No reply = no interest to maintain the conversation.
Worth saying, though, that sending a meme is not such a conversation opener: you watch the meme, laugh, and... What can you reply? "Haha", fine... It's not such an important interaction, so there might be a chance he actually legit forgot. And the fact you try to read something out of this missing reaction to a message like that sounds like you sent the meme in order to measure his interest, or to get his attention in general, and that wasn't so "casual". But for him, maybe it was. So I think you should wait for more concrete conversations to measure his interest, although, if he ghosts other messages, even memes, the answer will be served anyway... Now don't send anything else, let him reach out if he wants. If he doesn't, don't give "more" in response of receiving "less" because that makes it more unbalanced and you would need even more reassurement afterwards. Let him do his moves if he is interested, he definitely has all the space available to do that.
