So I was on my period, and I told him I wasn't feeling well. He got smart with me and was being inconsiderate of me feelings and just being as butt for no reason so I got so mad and started screaming and kicked him out to go to his house. He was all apologetic and felt bad how I he made me feel. He's all respectful now and cautious of what he says to me.

Every now and again showing that you have some fire in you and the capability to call him out when he's going too far, can be a good thing. It can be reassuring that you're not a fragile doormat, and helps him be respectful.
I'm guessing it worked for you because it's out of character. Just don't overdo it and become a harpie. Give him a bit of reassurance perhaps.
Yeah I don't really do that I just got so mad I just wouldn't hit nobody
You want a relationship run on fear? He shouldn’t have to be afraid of what he says around you. Sometimes it’s good to put your foot down but don’t over rely on this or abuse it
Not fear, not really being afraid he should respect me and not be a butt.
He should, but you should also not scream at him and kick him out. Imagine how you would feel if he did that to you
It’s good as long as it’s effect.
