Why would a guy spy a girl for his friend?

The guy that rejected me really good friend is now viewing my instagram stories and he doesn’t even follow me there.

This has happened couple times so it’s not like it’s coincidence. Is he stalking me behalf of his friend?

Because that's what guys do for one another. Girls do it too except girls incorporate flirting in it and see if the guy will bite. This is not simply a guy issue.

Woman are at a greater fault in this area. They often use their friend's sexuality to set up the boyfriend, whereas, we guys will mostly watch from afar. Sometimes, we do ask one another to see if he can get laid by her. We want a woman that we can count of and if she will do it with friend then she will do it with anyone.
