I’m confused, should I move on?

I liked this guy I went on a date with a few years ago and we talked back and forth via text and all but then stopped, he moved to another country and he randomly decided to talk to me again via Snapchat but then stopped I’d say a little less than a month after. Then he texts again months after, via Snapchat and we talk again for I’d say about a month and the last encounter was about a year and a half ago when he sends me a Snapchat video and I reply and he just read it and since then silence. I don’t know what his intentions are and it’s been eating at me for so long because I liked him and felt something was there between him and I. This isn’t some middle school stuff either, we are both adults so I just need some perspective so I can get some form of closure I should just move on at this point. Thank you for anyone’s help.

Possibly the long distance and you're at this point just entertaining him because he does not sound like he is investing or putting you as a priority other wise he would make an effort to see you more often and make plans

Thanks, yeah I’ve come to a realization since posting that there really isn’t a point in holding hopes for it anymore, it’s been a year and a half so within that time if he cared, he would’ve made some effort.

Yes that's a long time to keep hoping he will make an effort. Best to meet someone close by or someone willing to travel for you
