Why does he want to see me?

I have been on a solo holiday for a few days. To add some entertainment to my life, I downloaded a dating app just to see what's out here...

One guy keeps asking to see me. I have politely declined 3 times, yet he still messages me (at night time) asking if he can take me out on a date.

WHY is he so adamant on seeing me and what does he want? I asked him by the way and he said "I just wanna see you".

Let’s try to look at what he’s communicating by his actions. He repeatedly requests to see you even though you decline. This means he doesn’t respect your wishes or take you seriously, which makes me suspect he is after sex.
