i was talking to my old boss one day before he got fired. & i was saying how i want a woman for companionship.

& he said never say that to another guy again just say you want a woman for sex.

Sex is great and all, but it's such a small part of your life, especially in most married couples I see. What's most important is just finding someone you can stand to be around, a best friend, that you also find attractive. She doesn't have to be the hottest woman in the world, in fact, it's probably best that she's more on the average side of looks.

I find most "Hot" women to be lazy, hard to please, and contribute little to a relationship outside of sex. Which most people aren't even having daily in adult relationships with children and work and all that.

Sounds like your old boss got fired for a reason. Not a thing wrong with wanting a woman as a friend. I have female friends. Most western women of today aren't attractive to me for sex or a relationship, so I'm always down to be friends with them.

I wonder if he thought your vulnerability in sharing this would make you a target among other men, so he was low-key giving you the advice to not share this with just any guy. Maybe he thought most guys would react to what you shared in an aggressive and vicious/bullying manner, and he was trying to protect you. He was possibly saying, "In front of the guys, protect yourself by acting like them and hiding your vulnerability, or else they'll eat you alive." Maybe they had already eaten him alive, and he didn't want you to share the same fate. He probably felt fatherly or big-brotherly towards you.
