How do shy guys react to a girl complimenting them?( what if this guy never got a compliment and did so for the first time?)?

okay ik i shouldn't be saying this but like this guy isn't even good looking but i find him hella attractive. when i told my friends, they were like "why him" or "u have a bad taste", but he is a sweet guy. okay so he never got compliments from a girl. now how would he react to it when a girl he doesn't know calls him attractive? will they think about it? i mean he blushed and smiled and didn't make eye contact with me when i confessed. what do i do?

Sounds like he really liked it if he blushed and smiled. I would just ask him out. He's not gonna turn you down if it is as you say.

omg i did😭 but he said," i am not interested in dating right now because of boards". i mean he is not wrong.. he has his important exam in 2 months.. anyone in his position would turn it down. but if i go to him after his exams, do u think he would agree?

yeah I would think so. Although he probably shouldn't expect you to double down on asking him out. If he likes you and he already got the offer he will most likely get in touch as soon as his exams are over.
