He joins convos I'm having w my brother and we make eye contact but he won't add me back on snap?

I've liked him for multiple years on and off. He's single and two years older than me, he's also my brother's friend. He's been giving me signs recently. When I was talking to my brother one time in the hallway, he joined the conversation, because I said "bro," to my brother, and he said "bro," also aimed at my brother right after me. It's hard to explain, you had to be there. Also, while my brother's class crossed mine, he said, "Look, it's your sister," completely unprompted. The last thing is that we make a lot of eye contact, one time all the way from across a room and one time when I made eye contact with him he stumbled slightly, though there were a few circumstances that might have contributed to that. He was wearing crocs and his friend was walking in front of him, so he didn't see his friend when he was making eye contact with me. Before any of these signs were given, though, I added him on snap through quick add (I refreshed it so many times so he would appear on it), and he didn't add me back. I'm getting serious mixed signals but I've liked him for such a long time and i can't get over him. We're both shy people who only really open up with our friends which might be why this is happening, but I'm confused. Please give your honest opinion, it will help a bunch.

Eye contact things can be considered as a sign of interest coz if anyone you or him wouldn't be interested then of course there wouldn't be much eye contact.
And adding you both are shy people so of course it's hard to understand each other behaviour and he is older and your brothers friend.
So he might be nervous like you that things didn't go up in that way and makes him look creepy.
He also don't even know that what you feels for him?
And i think he didn't add you on snap coz your brother would question him. I would have done the same.

And what do you mean by you liked him on and off? So you think that you not serious for him? Or is he not good for you?

I'm very serious about him and for me, the second I think of him, the adjective perfect comes to mind. There's really no better way to describe it. By on and off, I mean that sometimes I'll doubt whether he likes me and try to forget about it in fear of getting hurt, but it never goes away for some reason and I can't get over him because I still like him.
