Been talking to a guy on and off I usually get him whatever but I never asked him for anytbing but want be sure I’m not being manipulated or maybe he the type to only do it in relationships? And yes he asked me out before but I wasn’t ready I was dealing with family stuff..
He shouldn't be asking you for money and you shouldn't be asking him for money. If either of you feels like they want to give a gift out of their own free will, that's on them. There's nothing wrong with doing something nice for someone now and then. Sometimes people borrow money and pay it back, but that's never a good situation when it comes to relationships, friendships, or family. Loans should be all business. So if someone is asking you to buy things for them or give them money then they are using you.

You asked if only asks for money if he is in a relationship... duh, obviously not. WHY do girls give dudes money? You aren't even together with this loser. You will never see 1¢ from that guy.. ever. If you're smart you will stop 'talking to him' and find a better quality dude.
Never buy a man anything before he does for you/ makes things official. He will use you. Men are providers & protectors… a real man will never take from you like that.

No that's called using you if he cannot support himself right now or tomorrow or the next day or the next day you are goal-oriented you want to grow in life he is at a standstill and it's going to take him a long long time to even take the first step really should walk away from this guy and he will keep taking from you as long as you keep giving stop giving and see what happens
depends which country but in westernized countries we men are expected to pay so if he does not that is a warning red flag. if he asked you for money i consider that manipulation. you probly wanna give him because you love him, [i saw that in a video once] but still that is misusing your affection. when he requests: my opinion is to reply saying "a firm no" and risk him leaving to "use" someone else.
