Why is he avoiding me?

my situationship from 3 years ago randomly texted me a week ago and swiftly approached me with the offer of a friendship. he exclaimed that he missed me & blah blah blah.

i ended up giving him my new number because i could tell he probably just needed a friend. he seemed very pushy and desperate.

we spoke on the phone for about an hour , and then i haven't spoken to him since. this was 4 days ago.

he will unlike my photos if he accidentally likes them & he will watch my story online but has not responded or reached back out to me in 4 days.
he's also active online & still doesn't interact w me.

was i just a quick rebound? what's the reason for the avoiding?

Maybe there's just nothing to say. If he goes online, maybe it is for a reason. If he's got 300 people he talks to he's not going to have time to devote to every one every time he goes online. I have friends I haven't spoken to in years. We get around to it when we get around to it.
