My boyfriend says it's gross picturing me with other guys?

So... I'm not allowed to tell my boyfriend any sexual experiences from my past because he said and I quote "it's yuck hearing and imagining you being sexual with guys, it's just so gross and yuck 🤮 don't say any of that stuff to me ok! I don't want to hear about it"

What the hell is yuck and gross about my sexual experiences in the past?

Does anyone understand what he means by that?

I've tried to ask him and he won't elaborate he just repeats "it's just gross and yuck".

I almost feel offended.

Please someone explain what he means cause he won't.

We have been together for 6months and have known each other since we were children, he is 27 and I am 30.

From my POV I like to hear, and I am probably in the minority. In my 20's a girlfriend I had used to tell me almost every detail about past and her current sex partners (While she and I were dating, but not a 'couple') She told me their penis size, if I asked, how fast or slow they would 'thrust', what they did when she sucked them, etc. I found it erotic, and it was like watching porn (real life)

Never understood men saying it was 'gross' to hear. She liked to hear about my past also, and even pre-adolescent sexual activity.

Thank you for the "like' and it looks like we are in the minority. Even after she and I broke off, she contacted me months later and we talked about her, then, sex life. Never understood the negativity.

Yeah most people are monogamous and have no interest in hearing about, seeing or imagining their partner with someone else. It’s jealousy inducing and gross. Why would I want to know what my boyfriend has done in bed with other women? So that I can think of it? Absolutely not, but I would never forget if he told me so I don’t wanna hear it. So I can imagine her disgusting juices on my man or his thing inside of someone else? Fuck no. Just knowing your partner has been with other people before is enough. Still gross to think about but since you don’t know any details you can kind of ”forget” about it, pretend it never happened and not let it create images in your mind.

It is normal to not want to picture the person you love being sexual with others. If it doesn't bother you when you think about your partner being with other girls you probably aren't invested into the relationship as much as you think you are.
