For the last (8-9) months he and I exchanged messages every day. We said good morning, good nights to each other and told how our day was each time. But one day I told him to wait until we met in-person. (Back-story: He moved to another state *2hrs away* to help his brother with a new business. We tried to meet once before he left but i couldnt due to helping my parents. Second time we tried to meet I had to help my sis with something important, and third attempt couldnt because a family member passed away.)
After the third attempt i told him to wait until we could meet in-person. I said there was too much on my plate and he was far away as well (he ended up finding a job in the new state he moved to so he wasn't coming back). And I said things like maybe we can try again after meeting each other. He said he thinks that'd be best and he should be the one saying that to me since he didn't want to be stringing me along.
A few weeks pass by and he says "hi" on an instgram DM. I didn't see it until 3 days later and we talked after he apologized cause he just got off work. We talked and said goodnight to one another like before. But he doesn't initiate conversation like before.
I start it first and he replies. We're both busy with our life so we spent around 1 week going back and fourth until we were able to say goodnight to each other again. But he doesn't initiate anything.
I dont know what happened. If he's trying to not string me on like he said or if he's not interested like before. Cause he still teases me like before sometimes.
